This piece remains in a FIELD USED CONDITION- Material displays visible surface wear and areas of damage due to usage in Combat Conditions. One shoulder Harness appears to be missing. Buckles and Fasteners remain in their  original state. Russian Cyrillic Military Markings and Date Stamp are present.

An EXCELLENT example of a RARE , Rhodesian Bush War 1970s Soviet Military Supplied ZANU Guerilla Backpack. This piece is a Field Pick-up, obtained by a member of the Rhodesian Security Forces as a trophy item. The Backpack still retains the original Russian Military Markings and Date Stamp for 1974 on the interior of the Main Compartment Flap. Please Note : The Right Shoulder Harness is missing & a large Tear is present on the Backpack top Right corner.

This item came with a large consignment of other Rhodesian Military items, and represents the variety of equipment used by the Liberation/ Guerilla Movements during the Bush War.
