Impressive Modernist 18ct Gold, Diamond & Enamel Dome Ring
This fabulous, large, mid-century, modernist 18ct yellow gold domed ring with striking green enamel, is beautifully set with an oval cluster of twenty-five diamonds. The cluster features a 0,10ct diamond in the centre, with eight diamonds = 0,24ct circling it, which are surrounded by another sixteen diamonds = 0,80ct. This fine quality ring is very similar to the work done by 'David Webb', a highly sort after mid-century jeweller. It is stamped '750' with a jeweller's number and initials '288 AD' inside the band. The ring is in excellent condition with no damage whatsoever to the enamel, weighs a heavy 16,9g and has a ring size of 'M 1/2'.
This exquisite diamond and enamel ring comes with a detailed valuation, with a replacement value of R106 400, a copy of which is listed below. (The valuation was done by a very reputable independent jeweller but doesn't take rarity and age into consideration).
