1970's MARLBORO cigarettes metal advertising sign, Marlboro Man Wayne McLaren, 54 cm x 33 cm

MARLBORO CIGARETTES metal advertising sign from 1976. All advertising signs I have on offer are from the period, they are not the cheap reproductions that are floating around everywhere these days. These are the real McCoy! Most of them come from my grandfather's collection, they were one of his great passions.

The Marlboro Man, an iconic figure and one of the most recognisable campaigns in advertising history, nicely embossed sign depicting the most famous of all "Marlboro Cowboys", Wayne McLaren (died 1992 of lung cancer.....). The Marlboro Man campaign ran between 1954 and 1999. Outstanding condition with just two slightly larger scratches and some small stains around the right shoe.
