Amethyst
Amethyst, the birthstone of February, is a variety of Quartz that carries a spectacular purple colour that ranges from a blend of deep violet and red to a lighter lilac hue. Ancient Greeks believed that the stone protected the wearer from drunkenness and enabled them to keep a balanced mindset.
Rose de France is a variation of Amethyst with its stunning pinkish lavender hue and subtle light tones. The only known source of this gemstone is in Southern Brazil where its delicate colour is the result of the presence of titanium oxide.
How Much Are Amethysts Worth? In general, the darker the colour, the higher the value. The finest amethyst is a deep purple colour with minimal colour zoning. It looks the best in daylight as compared to artificial lighting.

Our products are exceptional fine quality and we believe each stone to be unique and in a class of its own!! This means that we only concentrate on the best possible quality, so if you are looking for cheap gemstones, then you are at the wrong place. You are, however, welcome to have a look at our gemstones, watch the videos and ask questions.
