• Due to the nature and age of our items, flaws and imperfections form part of their character.
• Due to the nature of the goods, and the size delivery of goods is worked on a quote basis. Once you place the order we can help you with the delivery of the item, and we will quote you for the courier cost or we allow Collections
  • Delivery: We are able to provide an end-to-end service from our store to your home. To achieve this we use preferred service providers who handle our items with the greatest care. If you would like us to deliver your items, please email call us to arrange a quote.
    Collections: Pick up of online purchases may be done at our Bryanston store. Kindly email or call us to arrange this with us prior to collection.
• We supply multiple photos on the website of each piece however you are welcome to request additional images and/or a video.
• Please Note: The pictures of the items form part of the description
• Please note that all clocks are sold for their decorative value. We recommend the clock be serviced and restored to working order if required. Not all clocks have weights and/or pendulums and keys. We can refer you to a clock servicing company in Johannesburg or Cape Town should you require it.
• Some of our tea & coffee sets sold are for their decorative value and others are in a condition to be functional. We can assist with a quote for re-silvering or polishing should this be required.
• Colours depicted in the photos of items may differ from the actual colour of the items due to many factors including the light and the time of day that the photos are taken.
• The item photographed does not include any accessories in the picture, unless stated otherwise in the product description.
• Our onsite restoration centre is able to modify most items and we can quote to alter the finish of most of our items eg darken, lighten, bleach, gild (we hand gild with gold leaf and silver leaf), French polish etc.
• We have an onsite upholstery centre with a very quick turnaround time and we can also quote for reupholstery and sourcing of fabric if needed.
• Import duty is not included in the prices reflected online. You may have to pay import duties upon receipt of your order if your order is transported to a country outside of South Africa.
