This magnificent vintage carved German made "Tempus Fugit" long case grandfather clock has a West German Hermle #461-053H clock mechanism. The grandfather clock has a Westminster chime which gongs on the quarter, half-hourly and hourly intervals which can be turned off. This is a beautifully made clock which measures a very decent 205cm high x 47.5cm long x 27cm wide. Tempus Fugit means “time flies” in Latin. The clock is chain driven and is an 8-day mechanism. The clock is in stunning condition for its age and is working and keeping time well and the clock has just been serviced.
