A Village in a Valley, the third book in Nichols's Allways trilogy set in the English countryside, is the hilarious memoir about the village in which he lived. There are many adventures, country thrills and village rumours. With beautiful pen drawings by Rex Whistler. First published October 1934 by Jonathan Cape. This is the second impression of the same month. Condition: Very good for its age. Light foxing on edges of book block. Cover has small tears at edges.
