A most interesting read on all kinds of subjects: jugglers in Ceylon, the twopenny town, wild cats in Texas and a political parrot.

All the Year Round was a British weekly magazine containing fiction and non-fiction founded and owned by Charles Dickens, published between 1859 and 1895 throughout the United Kingdom. Edited by Dickens, it was the direct successor to his previous publication Household Words, abandoned due to differences with his former publisher. This volume contains the contents of all the weekly magazines from August 13, 1864, to January 21, 1865, plus content of Household Words.

Volume XII first published 1865 by Messrs Chapman and Hall, Piccadilly. Condition: Good for its age. Contents page loose. Foxing and stains, but all type clearly readable. Pages tanned. Boards have wear and tear at edges and spine.
