This incredibly rare LARGE vintage German made "Mauthe" Art Deco style Westminster chime mantle clock is in stunning condition for its age and has just been service by our clockmaker. The clock measures a superb 71cm long x 14.5cm wide x 24cm high. This is without a doubt the largest such mantle clock that we have ever had. The clock has a german made "W500" mechanical mechanism with the key and has the amazing Westminster chime on the quarter hour, half hour and hourly intervals and also has an on/off chime switch. The clock has a silver plaque on the top confirming the clock was "Presented to W. Fly by the Directors and staff of James Thompson Limited, Nov 1961". The clock has absolute minimal/ normal age and usage related wear and tear and scuffs and the dome glass door is in great condition. Please view the pics carefully to fully appreciate this remarkable and rare oversized vintage Mauthe mantle clock and to confirm the condition.
