Antique Silver Bone Handled Cake Server (Possibly Cape Silver)

This very early server, in my opinion, probably dates to around the early 1800's and could possibly be a rare piece of early cape silver. It is not marked at all but has been tested as silver. The short handle is carved from bone and where the handle joins the spoon there is either a very early repair or that is how it was actually made. It measures 18.5cm in length and 4.8cm in width.
