Since 2008 I have sent 13 Mandela signatures to Cecil Greenfield All came back authentic.

I sent them to Greenfield as this is what collectors wanted, not because I needed it for myself.

If you have bought a Mandela signature too cheaply, or too good to be true,

its 90% a forgery

The forgeries have unfortunately plagued the market since around 2009, in 2008

Mandela signed photos were selling for R12 000 to R18 000, after the forgery flood

the prices dropped slightly as collectors thought they had authentic signatures.

Although the photo is worth R12 000 to R14 000, I have adjusted the price to

fit inline with the current market, forged photos average around R5000,

Real photos R12 000 to R14 000, hence starting bid + - between the two.

Most collectors are unknowingly sitting with forgeries and false certificates, but such is

the autograph hobby, its the nature of the hobby, advanced autograph collectors will agree.
