An exceptionally well-preserved piece of industrial maritime history, this original pressure lamp was manufactured between the 1920s and 1940s by The Great Grimsby Co. Ltd in Lincolnshire, UK. These lamps were designed for use in punishing environments like ship decks, where durable, high-lumen lighting was non-negotiable.

Thick, intact glass globe, weatherproof and impact-resistant.

White-painted upper housing with domed, vented top.
Original bail handle still present and fully functional allows for hanging or carrying.

Condition: Very good, considering its age. Glass is intact, brass has been carefully polished, and the painted surfaces are relatively clean with some age-related abrasions. Some minor bumps and scratches. All major components including the bail handle are intact. I have not tested the lamp so I don't know if it's working.
