Boer War Q.S.A. Medal 'SJT. W.J. BRASSELL' (Johannesburg M.R.)

 

This original, full size 'Queen South Africa' medal, with a single clasp 'Transvaal', was awarded to 'Serjeant. W.J. Brassell' of the 'Johannesburg Mounted Rifles'. This medal is in great condition with ribbon and nicely tarnished, and confirmed on the roll, but with a different rank of 'SQMS' (Squadron Quartermaster Serjeant). The rim of the medal reads '420, SJT: W.J. BRASSELL. JOHANNESBURG M.R.'.
