Imposing Minichamps model of the beautiful Brabham BT49C which won the World Drivers Championship in 1981 in the hands of Nelson Piquet.
The (first) ground-effect F1 period from 1977 1982 was dominated by Williams cars for many years but Nelson Piquet managed to win by a single point in 1981 over Reuteman's Williams. The BT49 was used from 1979 till 1982.
The Brabham BT49 was decked out in simple, pure and beautiful navy-blue and white Parmalat livery truly one of F1's best and most iconic colour schemes! The car's sharp and crisp shape lent itself perfectly to the colours and was complimented by Piquet's unique red and white helmet.
A wonderful model of one of F1's classic cars. Limited edition 1/999 pieces.
Imported and in as-new condition. Supplied in its original box also mint.
