Chris Lovell. Detailed Wood Carving of Dromedaris Ship. East Indiaman, Table Mountain REDUCED!

This a large wood carved picture of the Dromedaris entering Table Bay by Chris Lovell. The detail is incredible. Look at the camel and lions on ths ship, the cannons, the sailor in the rigging pointing at Table Mountain, the VOC flags and pennant and the Dutch flag. The artist has carefully carved his name on a log floating in Table Bay. A lot of work has been put into this unique piece with meticulous carving. The result is an absolutely fabulous work of Africana art, which would look great in a bar, man cave, study, or anywhere else. I have never seen anything like it!  Good investment piece.

Dimensions are 61 cm x 40 cm and  3 cm thick. Solid wood.
