Hardcover first printed in England 1949 by Lindsay Drummond. The jacket is much worn and torn, with larger pieces missing from edges, and tape reinforcing the spine on the reverse. The grey cloth boards with gilt titling and decoration to the front are clean and square, with bumps to corners, and small patches of sunning to extremities. Apart from a smudge to the first endpaper, the pages are clean and unmarked.
