Goldwasser (German: Gold water of Danzig), with Goldwasser as the registered trade name, is a strong (38%) root and herbal liqueur which has been produced since at least 1598.

The most prominent characteristic of this alcoholic beverage is small flakes of 22 karat gold suspended in it.

Gold is an inert metal and is harmless when ingested.

All the spirits we currently have listed are from the deceased estate of a private collector who collected most of the bottles from the 1970's to 2005.

All bottles are sealed and as such we can not guarantee the quality of the contents.
