Couples Retreat (DVD) [New]

This romantic comedy ticks all the required plot points and manages to even provide some stunning cinematography of the Bora Bora Islands, where the film was shot. Alas, it doesn't offer too many surprises along the way.

Basically, four couples go away together on a romantic vacation, at least that's what they think. When they arrive however, they discover that the whole trip will revolve around "couple's therapy", which soon causes some unwanted problems to rise to the surface.

The rest of the story has some hilarious moments, albeit moments you can see coming from a mile away. The buoyant performances are a definite plus though, as the huge selection of experienced comedians help keep the film afloat, as well as providing the requisite amount of laughs
