Includes life sketches of Kmdt Danie Theron, Kapt Jack Hindon, Kapt Henri Slegtkamp, Genls Cronje, Meyer, De la Rey, De Wet, Botha, Hertzog, Beyers, Kemp, Smuts and others. Programme/ Commemmorative Booklet. 24 pages. Almost A4 size. Used and a bit foxed, but in good condition. Shipping to anywhere in SA is R20. On 1 November 1969 a statue of Danie Theron, made by Charl Engela, was revealed at the Danie Theron Combat School, as well as a series of paintings of Boer Generals. A new Commando flag was handed over to the School, the shoulder flashes were worn for the first time, and the School song was sung for the first time. During this inauguration parade, the Minister of Defence travelled in the coach that originally belonged to Boer General J.H. (Koos) de la Rey.
