Dolphin Den is a self-catering home that has it all; Modern amenities and the best sea views. The house is situated in Anerley, in Port Shepstone. The village of Southport and Anerley has a Service Station, Superette and Bakery as well as a dentist for emergencies. These are all located within close proximity to the house. Southport and Sunwich port main beaches are both pristine Blue Flag beach with tidal pools, rock pools, fishing and surfing and safe swimming with lifeguards on duty with in a 10 minute walk either direction from the house. The tidal pool and rocky beach only 3 min walk from the house, makes for great exploring with the kids, and there is a safe beach playing area for smaller children. In season on a windy day, watching the whales jumping and on a calm day, watch the dolphins swim past can be experienced from the comfort of the patio or sitting in the lounge. At night ships can be seen and even identified by their lights.
The main house: the main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed with the best of sea views and features an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, the second bedroom contains a double bed with a view of the sea, and the third bedroom has 2 single beds; the second and third bedrooms share the second bathroom, fitted with a shower. All linen and bath towels are provided for all the beds. This is all situated on the top floor of the main house. The top floor also has a lounge with an awesome sea view, wonderful to relax and enjoy the sea view when the weather is not so grate for outdoor living. The lounge features a TV with full package DStv, a dining room table that can seat six people and a double sleeper couch, linen and bath towels provided. A large patio with a view to dream of, walks out of the lounge and here whale and dolphin watching takes up most of your time. Deck chairs are provided for more comfort and enough space is provided for all to be able to view. The main house has a well-equipped kitchen on the bottom floor that contains a full fridge 300 liter and a box freezers 201 liter, a microwave, an eye level oven and hob, tea- and coffee-making facilities, cutlery and crockery for all your cooking purposes. The open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining room features a breakfast nuke, a dining room table seating 8 people as well as a flat-screen TV with a full package DStv. The lounge is furnished with two comfortable double sleeper couches and has a guest toilet for comfort.
The flat is equipped with a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. All linen and bath towels are provided for all of the beds. The open-plan lounge features a comfortable double sleeper couch, a TV with full package DStv, a breakfast nuke and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is well equipped for self-catering and contains a fridge-freezer, a stove, an oven, a kettle, toaster and a microwave. The flat can also be booked separately from the main house and the recommendation will be that only 3 people sleep for more comfort.
The swimming pool that overlooks the sea on comfortable deck chairs, is also accompanied with an entertainment area and covered verandah with braai facilities, furnished with all the luxuries needed to entertain your family and friends.
The property is fully fenced and there is secure parking with an automated gate.
