No sharing, only 1 device of its type can be paired to the receiver mode at a time
(One Apple device and One Android Device can both be paired to the receiver at the same time)
Aftermarket stereos/head units are not compatible.
This device is a bit larger than when compared to the "USB" stick type but more on that below...

Start Up Instructions

Start by forgetting the bluetooth and wifi connections to your car from your iPhone, if any.
Start the car.
Connect the Wireless Adapter to your wired USB-A port or USB-C port.

Step 1
Slide the switch on the device to the Car Play mode ...
Select the CarPlay icon on the screen of the car, once the screen changes.
Go to your iPhone bluetooth settings and pair with "smart adapter".
It will ask you to pair, sync and to allow CarPlay use. Allow all three of these popups on your iPhone.

Step 2
Slide the switch on the device to the Android Auto mode ...
Select the Android Auto icon on the screen of the car, once the screen changes.
Go to your Android bluetooth settings and pair with "smart adapter".
It may ask you to pair, sync and to allow Android Auto use. Allow all three of these popups on your iPhone.

Troubleshooting

Unable to Connect:
On the phone BT settings, forget previous paired connection for our Wireless Adapter (delete all connection history), re-search BT device for our Adapter and re-pair using a brand new connection.
