Vintage, yellow, enamel nutcracker bowl set, manufactured by the H.M. Quackenbush company, complete with metal nut cracker and 5 plus 4 nut picks.
Henry Marcus Quackenbush (April 27, 1847 – September 8, 1933), was an American inventor who founded the H.M. Quackenbush Company in Herkimer, New York. His company was widely known for the invention of the metal, spring-jointed nutcracker and other goods.it sits on a modern, round pedestal. The center wooden knob holds the ornate nut cracker and 6 ( only 5 original plus 4 extra) nut picks and the bowl itself is deep enough to hold a nice amount of nuts or other snacks. It has that cool, Mid-Century design element and would look classy sitting on your coffee table at your next party.
In Great Vintage condition. A small scuff ( and spot of enamel loss) to the interior and the exterior has a couple scratches underneath. There is some enamel loss on the bottom of the pedestal where it rests on your table. For it's age, it's still fabulous. Silver nut cracker and picks have some slight areas of patina. Please see my pics for close-ups. HMQ original label on the bottom.
