ENGLISH COLLECTABLE MILLENNIUM HALLMARK 9CT YELLOW GOLD DIAMOND RING

This pretty and solid piece of jewellery was crafted in Birmingham in the Jewellery Quarter of England to herald in the new century in the year 2000 and received the special assay hallmark created to commemorate the turn of the century. Previous special assay hallmarks issued include the silver jubilee of 1935 (George VI), the coronation of 1935 and the silver jubilee of 1977 (both Queen Elizabeth II). (See image!) It is a solid piece at 3,1 grams and ring size 7,25 (O/half in British. It bears quite a few hallmarks including the Birmingham assay, the jeweller signature and the distinctive year 2000 commemorative assay.
