Excellent condition all round, though series 3 inlay is stuck to the case at the back bottom section (this could be removed with minimal damage)

Brilliant comedy series written by the one and only Jo Brand

The medical sitcom following the fortunes of the staff on an NHS hospital ward. Beset by killer viruses, egomaniacal consultants and endless paperwork, the overworked and underpaid staff of ward B4 struggle on regardless in this BBC comedy. Snowed under by her workload, neurotic Ward Sister Flixter (Joanna Scanlan) is forced to rely on the talents of seen-it-all-before nurse Kim Wilde (Jo Brand), while trying to avoid the attentions of over-egging Ward Doctor Pippa Moore (Vicki Pepperdine).

The story simply follows three characters, nurse Kim Wilde, sister Den Flixter and Dr.Pippa Moore as they try to run and look after the patients on the ward. The acting is spot on, the writing is great (the three actors in this are also the writers by the way) and with Peter Capaldi directing you know its in good hands. Witty, clever, moving, tragic, poignant, but above all just plain funny!
Series one is only three episodes long while the other two are six episodes long. Extras on the series 1 DVD - interviews with the three main characters.
