Configuring Your PV Conversion Kit
In the bundled products tab, you'll find items with quantity selectors that allow for customization based on your preferences:
Solar Panels: While the kit requires solar panels, we offer the option to include them or not. Recognizing the challenges associated with transporting heavy and bulky panels, many customers prefer to use panels they already have or choose different sizes. If you'd like us to supply the solar panels, please maximize the quantity selector. Below are the options available:
- 100L PV Kit: Includes 2x 340W Panels (Or similar)
- 150L PV Kit: Includes 3x 340W Panels (Or similar)
- 200L PV Kit: Includes 4x 340W Solar Panels (Or similar)
You're also welcome to use other types or sizes of solar panels, as long as they adhere to MPPT limitations.
Geyserwise Stainless Steel Flanges: Different geysers require specific flanges. Set the quantities for non-applicable flanges to "0" and select "1" for the flange your geyser uses. Note that some geysers don't require flanges, and in such cases, set the flanges and Sensor Tube quantity to "0". If you choose a flange option, ensure the Sensor Tube Quantity is set to "1" for thermostat installation.
Geyserwise 6m Solar Cable: Choose to include this cable or use your own. Cable quantities can be adjusted for geysers situated farther from the panels than the standard 6m cable sizes can reach. Add additional cable for every extra 6m reach required.
Brackets and Mounting: For Tiled Roofs, set all other mounting option quantities to "0" except for the Roof Tile Bracket option. We allow for up to 4 mounting fixtures per solar panel, but typically 2 are sufficient per panel. For IBR and Sheet Metal roofs, choose between 10mm or 12mm Dowel Screws, setting other mounting brackets to "0".
Geyserwise Tuya Smartlife PCB: Replace the PCB in the display unit that comes with the TSE1 to enable Wi-Fi compatibility for AC control and monitoring of water temperatures, timers, etc., from your smartphone, worldwide. Simply set this quantity to "1" if you would like this smart management solution.
The PTC Element: As a default, no element is included as there are 2 options, the Stainless Steel standard solution, and the Titanium element for hard water conditions. Set the required option's quantity to 1.
The TSE1 Controller: As a default, 1 is included in the kit, but if you already have one on your geyser, and you are certain it is the TSE1 you have, then you can set this quantity to "0".
