DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	An original oil painting of THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE in NEW YORK by American artist H Duchamp. The painting is painted on artist's board (treated canvass on hardboard) and I have had it re - framed in a very good quality wooden frame (stained white) with a thin black inner frame to show off this lovely painting beautifully. The framed painting is smallish and measures 310 x 360 mm in the frame and the artwork alone measures 200 x 250 mm. It is shown in the image above as sold and there are 4 more images which follow for more detail. If unsure of anything please ask a question.
CONDITION	Both the painting and frame are in very good condition and it can be hung as is.

NOTES
A really lovely and decorative painting executed by an artist of obvious talent. If this item interests you, I suggest that you research the artist on the Internet. The Brooklyn bridge was obviously a favourite topic which he painted often. An interesting feature are the Twin Towers which can be seen in the background. Construction on the Twin Towers was started in 1968 and they were completed in 1973. It appears that they were not completely constructed when this artwork was done and from that we can deduce that the artwork was painted in about 1970.
