VINTAGE SIGNED HAAS & CZJZEK 30.5 cm - "ORIGINAL COBALT" SCULPTED PORCELAIN SET OF TWO VASES IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING, SIGNED o.d. 1992 VERY COLLECTABLE.

DESCRIPTION: This is a magnificently ornamental Haas & Czjzek, Czech Republic, "Original Cobalt" set of two magnificent Vases with Floral Gilded Decoration in Raised Relief & classic faux gold overlay. This set is one of the items sold by Haas & Czjzek before they ceased operating in 2011 and is therefore scarce, rare and sought after, and offer an excellent addition to your decor. The items are still packed in the original box.

CONDITION: These stunning vases are in an immaculate condition (unused) in original factory packaging with no chips or cracks.

HISTORY: Haas & Czjzek started operating from the small town of "Horni Slavkov" (pop. 5400). The history of the factory dates back to 1792. In 1867, George Haas accepted Johann Czjzek as a partner and adopted the now well known brand of "Haas & Czjzek" which at its peak employed a total of over 1,000 employees. The factory was nationalised in 1945 and in 1991 it was reprivatised. In 2011 the factory was closed down largely due to import tariffs being imposed by Russia. The company was finally liquidated on 23 July 2015.
