You are bidding on a Rare 1975 First edition Set of 12 different fairly tale Story plates for the Hans Christian Andersen Centenary year. Designed by renowned Artist Pauline Ellison, made for Royal Copenhagen, a set of fine porcelain plates Hand embellished in 24 carat gold border and quality transfer central panels intials PE of the artist. Produced by John Pinches Limited, 1975. These plates sell for R400+ each without a box. These Plates all have their original boxes, Plastic plate stands included, Authenticity certificates, Booklets, also a Rare Hans Christian Andersen Story Book and separate booklet describing each plate. These are now over 40 years old, appear to have remained in their boxes, probably never displayed. Boxes show minimal age wear and tear, some Boxes show water stains, however all intact, but all plates as new, in mint condition, no chips, cracks and no repairs. Two booklets have been duplicated, thus two titles are missing. Boxes measure approximately 23 x 23 x 5.5 cm. Plates 18.5 cm diameter. Each plate is signed on the rear. List of plates included:-
