As per scan.

ANGLO BOER WAR.  1900 POW cover sent (from Bultfontein?) to Prisoner of War AJ Erasmus being held prisoner on a ship (the Orient) at Simons Town. 

In all probability, the AJ Erasmus in question was Abel Jacobus Erasmus who was captured at Paardeberg on 27th of February 1900.  He was eventually sent to St.Helena.
