I purchased this Lenovo X1 Extreme Gen2 laptop in May 2020 primarily for use as a workstation for graphic design work. It is lightweight and the graphics are stunning on the super bright UHD touch-screen. The colours are accurate and the contrast is good.
It's handled pretty much everything I've thrown at it, huge Photoshop and Illustrator files, XD and Dimensions. It even handles light gaming such as Fortnite, Civilization VI and The Sims 4 with all the expansion packs.
I did a lot of research before I bought it, so I knew the battery life wasn't going to be as advertised before I bought it, but it lasts long enough for me, plus, I'm pretty much always near a plug, so the trade-off for the amazing screen (which I always run at 100% brightness) was worth it for me. The battery also has rapid charge technology, so if it runs flat it recharges to 80% in under an hour.
Aside from the excellent UHD OLED screen other cool features are:

- It's plug-and-play ready for most VR/AR headsets, including Oculus Rift.
- With Cortana Premium, you can speak commands to your ThinkPad X1 Extreme from across the room.
- It's military-grade tough, so no need to worry about spills and drops.

- You can close the camera lens so you don't have to worry about putting a sticker over it to ensure that creepy hackers aren't watching you through your camera (I'm paranoid about this...)
The reason I am selling it is because I want an Alienware R4 and I need to sell this one to be able to pay for it.
I am open to offers because the lid has a light scratch from when my dog tried to give me his paw... Otherwise, it's as new and still has 20 months remaining of the 3-year onsite warranty.
