Early Russian Silver Hammered Coin (circa 1300s to 1700s)
I have 40 of these small sliver coins available and bidding is per coin.
According to an internet source:
"So-called wire money was produced as early as the 14th century and issuance continued to the early 1700s. It was issued in both Denga and Kopek denominations, depending on the time period when a particular piece was produced. The coins were struck by taking a piece of silver wire, cutting it to the proper weight, then hammer it between a pair of dies by a strong-armed Russian. As might be expected, the coins are quite crude, small and are usually struck partly off-center. A horseman on one side and legends on the other. The silver coins weigh on average about a 2/3rd of a gram and measures little more than a centimeter in diameter".
