Classic 50's - 60's vintage tele lead sound. Enough spank and sparkle to take you down to twang town.. Low output like vintage telecaster pickups were but AlNiCo 5 magnets to improve definition on low end and top clarity.

Why are these pickups so cheap? We often get asked why our pickups are so cheap and if they REALLY are AlNiCo pickups. Yes, these definitely are AlNiCo 5 magnet pickups. AlNiCo is the prefered type of magnet when in comes to definition and clarity in pickups, the alternative is ceramic which is far cheaper. Most "cheap" pickups are made from ceramic magnets. At Valley Sound our pickups get ordered direct from the manufacturers and they make them according to our spec and budget, we then import these pickups in bulk and cut costs and we keep our mark up low to offer guitarists in South Africa a cost effective way of upgrading their guitars.
