Glass vase handmade and signed by Bertil Vallien for Kosta Boda, Sweden. It is a part of his selected "Artist collection" thus very rare. It is perfect condition and with the original box. This vase is simple, but it is the fantastic colors which will make it into an eye-catching centerpiece. The glass has numerous small individual drops of colors such as pink, lilac to blue and with a rainbow shimmer, all done with a spotted effect. Bertil Vallien is one of Scandinavias most talented artist and designer, his work has become very sought after during the last few years and for good reasons. It always has a certain quality, sleek design, and a sophisticated appearance.

This vase with round and generous shapes with a hemmed neck in iridescent glass was designed by Bertil Vallien for the Swedish glassworks Kosta Boda in 1981.
It is part of the Volcano collection.

Signed at the tip on the reverse.
