Large Vintage 18ct White Gold, Diamond and Pink Sapphire Ring

The large, vintage, 18ct yellow and white gold dress ring has an oval head, which is rub-over set with an marquise mixed-cut purplish pink sapphire (12.5mm x 6.4mm circa 3.1ct, lightly included). The pink sapphire is surrounded by 32 small, round, brilliant-cut diamonds (circa 0.22ct total). The shank of the ring is grooved and tapers to the back. There are 30 small, round, brilliant-cut diamonds set into the shoulders in three rows of five diamonds on each shoulder (circa .28ct total). The diamonds are all colour I-J; clarity VS-SI. The ring is marked "18ct".
