The M.2 Heatsink with Thermal Pad kit is designed to ensure efficient heat dissipation, thereby optimizing the performance of your M.2 drives and extending their longevity. The highest temperature of a M.2 SSD is the main control chip. The heatsink is a cost-effective passive cooling method that effectively reduces the temperature of the main control chip to maintain operating performance and also extends the life of the M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD. The thermal pad is placed between M.2 SSD and the heatsink body and conducts heat from M.2 SSD to the heatsink.

The heatsink and thermal pad is designed to efficiently dissipate heat from your M.2 drives, improving their performance and lifespan, 5 - 20°C Cooler running temps, If the NVMe or SATA SSD temperature rises to >45 degrees, please use this heat sink. The higher the temperature, the better the cooling result will be since heat will faster dissipate to heatsink from the M.2 drive.

Designed specifically for 2280 M.2 drives. The dimensions of the thermal pad is 70mm X 22mm X 1mm and the and heatsink is 70mm X 22mm X 3mm.

IMPORTANT: This heatsink is not designed for laptops, so please check the size / height to see if it will fit before ordering. If the M.2 Slot is located underneath your graphics Card PCI Express Slot on your motherboard this 3mm heatsink will work in most cases.
