Matchbox Lesney 21d Foden Concrete Truck

There are two distinct versions of the Foden 8 wheel Concrete truck, the regular wheels version has yellow cab and a mechanism that rotates the drum as the truck moves along, driven from a screw underneath. The other version has Superfast wheels and the mechanism is omitted, the mixer drum rotating freely. The Superfast version comes with either a yellow or orange cab - although the orange version is almost yellow. You will also sometimes find the Superfast version with the slot and tongue from the regular wheels version in the front bumper.

The Foden Concrete Truck (21d) was released in 1968, converted to Superfast in 1970 and deleted in 1973
