An educated, erudite man, Sir Albert was called to the Bar in 1938 after studying at the London School of Economics, Trinity College, Cambridge, and attending The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn, London as a Barrister-at-Law. He served during WWII, joining the Imperial Light Horse and the 3rd South African Infantry Brigade, serving in South Africa, Egypt and Libya and was wounded at El Alamein.
Post war, Sir Albert had a storied career in the corporate world, joining the Board of many companies as director and chairman of several high profile corporations.
A fascinating, well documented read.
