The author's aim is to present people in their most elemental human state in order to emphasize common traits rather than incongruities.
Continuing the loosely anthropological, though mostly just amusing, work he began in Naked New York, Friedler continued it in Naked Los Angeles and now his third installation, Naked London. What is presented are two images, side-by-side, in which a person appears clothed and the naked. Using strictly passersby and a nondescript backdrop, Friedler has created a funny and informative vision of the residents of these major metropolis'. Where will he go next? Perhaps, Tokyo or Paris...
