The new Mandela coin depicts the image of a smiling Nelson Mandela on the reverse. This image was specifically chosen to compliment the last two R5 circulation coins issued in 2000 after Nelson Mandela’s presidential term and in 2008 following his 90th birthday. The reverse also depicts the denomination ‘5 RAND’, the words ‘Nelson Mandela Centenary’, the years ‘1918’ and ‘2018’, together with the image. the 1918/2018 overlaps and change between each other depending on the view angle
The obverse of the R5 coin features the national coat of arms, the year ‘2018’ (the year in which the coin will be issued), and the words ‘South Africa’ (English) and ‘Aforika Borwa’ (Setswana).

Note: I have bee getting the question a few times, this listing is for a single coin, that came out of a sealed bag. I am selling loose coins of exceptional quality that I expect to grade 68 / 69 or better.
I have access to sealed bags, but would not sell sealed bags because shipping it will damage ALL the coins in the bag and lower their value. There is no way to ship coins sealed in a bag that would prevent them from touching the other coins in the same bag. People who sell sealed bags have no respect for the coins..
