An unmounted postcard signed by Anna Pavlova. Various photographs of the same postcard have been taken taken with different backgrounds and under different lighting conditions. 

One of the photographs has been taken in black/white and shows an ink stain at the back of the card. 

The photographs below show how the ink from the signature has seeped into the edge of the card. Note also the sheen of the ink of the signature.
