This nine-channel receiver supports 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 speaker configurations for cinematic overhead effects with upward-firing or in-ceiling speakers. Or, go with five speakers in your home theater room and use the remaining channels of power to drive speakers in two additional rooms. Run the industry-leading Dirac Live® room correction software on your mobile device, PC, or Mac® to perfect your surround sound.
Advanced HDMI connections
All HDMI ports on the back support 8K and 4K/120 Hz sources, including the latest next-gen game consoles. Gamers will appreciate advanced features like Auto Low Latency Mode and Variable Refresh Rate, which help keep the on-screen action smooth and stutter-free. A front-panel HDMI port supports 4K, great for connecting a video camera.
Create your own concert hall
Stream music with Bluetooth or play Wi-Fi networked sources like Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast built-in, and Spotify® Connect. Use the optical or coaxial digital inputs to connect a CD player or break out your vinyl collection and connect your turntable to the dedicated phono input. You can even play high-resolution music files from a USB stick or a networked computer.
Integrate Sonos with your system
This "Works with Sonos" certified receiver lets you tie your home theater into a whole-house audio system when you add a Sonos Port. Control the audio on your receiver using the Sonos app on your mobile device, PC, or Mac for a whole-home Sonos experience. The app will even turn on the VSX-LX305 and select the correct input.
