This unusual old clock has no maker's or country of orgin marks, which makes it even more complelling!

It tick-tocks away quite happily for approx 24 hours, with a comfortingly solid sound, reminiscent of Grandma's front room. I suspect one of the gears is slipping, as the top does not turn, but frankly this has not bothered me as I like the sound and the curious way in which it was designed to tell the time - the top should rotate once in 12 hours.
