Silver/Plated Honey Spoon By Roberts & Belk of England. Has the Patent No. 3893 stamped

From over 3 decades of storage. Clean up & Polishing upon request, otherwise sold as unpacked. 

HONEY SPOONS OF THIS DESIGN WERE PATENTED AND FASHIONED WITH A HOOK TO THE REVERSE OF THE SHANK.THIS WAS TO ALLOW THE HEAVY AND VISCOUS HONEY TO DRIP INTO THE POT, WHILE THE SPOON WAS SUSPENDED BY THE HOOK ONTO THE SIDE OF THE JAR.
