Extremely rare original WW2 Union Defence Force bell tent with two-piece tent pole and most ropes still in place. The tent was made in 1941 in Johannesburg. During or after the war the lower sides were repaired/replaced using several Royal Air Force kit bags (balsakke). The kitbags have Royal service markings, sold out of service stamps and owner's names and service numbers stenciled on. Lots of research to be done here to find out who all these men were and where they fought!
