We're delighted to bring this old classic back to you guys, with manufacturer's quality control that surpassed our expectations - no more dingy orange residue clinging to the barrel end that was hastily scraped off prior to shipping, as a shipment that was originally intended for a certain countries.

As most of you might already know, but for reference again, we'll revise the specifications of this blank gun.

The MOD 92 has the finer, slanted cocking serrations of the original BERETTA, which on this specific replica, has sharper machined angles to add better traction to them. This is something you might only find on higher grade blank guns such as EKOL and RETAY. You'll find this same sharpness in finer detail such as on the diamond checkering of the grip stocks and how positively it feels within your grasp. Likewise, the play onn the slide is minimal, though not yet firearms grade, but certainly does come quite close. The handle on this gun is a bit narrower than on the BLOW F92, which does result in exerting better control over the gun as more of your hand can encapsulate the handle. This is important, as this pistol has a weighty, all-metal contruction. Failure to be able to exert full control over the gun, means you'll not be able to handle the gun ergonomically, which will create distractive stresses as you handle the gun, which in turn, means you'll not be able to handle the gun confidently.

The black of this gun has a faint, matte sheen and may be mistaken for a powder coating.

Otherwise, like all vintage guns, this pistol does not feature an underbarrel Picatinny rail, so you cannot affix optics as such. The breech unfortunately does not feature a locking bolt like a BERETTA 92 but instead, is fused w/ the frame w/ no pins to otherwise remove this. The barrel as illustrated, has a recessed barrel blocker. The slide has the typical cut-out feature and the sights are authentic-looking. The safety is ambidextrous and has triple steps both on the top and bottom of the lever, to better actuate it either way. However, be advised that the safety levers on these pistols may sometimes be stiff out of the box and might need some ..coercing to fully co-operate.

Perhaps one of the big featrures to these pistols, is how they field strip. Unfortunately, these BERETTA 92 replicas do not field strip exactly the way a BERETTA 92 does, but instead, by rotating the take-down lever 90° and pulling it out, you can take the slide off the rail at the REAR by lifting it off once retracted to its rearmost position. a BERETTA normally strips off forwards, like you'd have on the KWC PT92 CO pistol.

Otherwise, this pistol has a somewhat flat profile and can be concealed well enough, however, you'll need to look at a proper / combat belt if you intend on carrying this pistol with you on a daily basis. We don't recommend something like this in an IWB holster and insofar as possible, opt for an OWB hardshell holster such as the CYTAC MEGA FIT RIGHT HAND UNIVERSAL HOLSTER, which btw, will also fit just about any other gun you may have. The holster in question just doesn't take well to single stack magazine profile pistols, as they are too slim.
