This is a South African Recce issue backpack called a Bergen by the Rhodesians and was used by "d" Squadron Rhodesian SAS who were formed from elements of the Recces operating with the Rhodesians during the bushwar It is made of very durable 'rip stop canvas ' with many pockets and pouches fitted with padded shoulder straps. This backpack is very rare and hard to find in this good condition.
