Rudolf Wachter Demitasse Coffee Set (15 pcs)

A stunning and striking demitasse 15-piece set by the Bavarian porcelain company, Rudolf Wachter, dating from the mid-20th century. 

The pieces are richly decorated in geometric gold patterns against a black background and with richly gilded handles and edges. 

The set is in good used condition with no chips, cracks of grazing and with the gilding intact. There is a tiny spot on the sugar basin where the black paint has come off (see last photo). 

Note that this is a demitasse set, meaning that the pieces are smaller than usual. See comparison photos and dimensions below. 

Dimensions: pot - 19cm L (spout to handle) x 14cm H; jug - 5.3cm H (to top of handle); basin - 11.5cm L (across handles) x 6cm H (to finial); cup - 7.8cm D x 3.8cm H; saucer - 11.7cm D. 

The pot holds about 700ml of liquid.
