This was the first live album released by Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel. They are a folk rock duo who have been around since the 1960's. This concert was attended by more than 500,000 people it is said, though this is unlikely. It was a benefit for the maintenance of Central Park in New York. It contains 21 songs, hits of this famous duo. "The Sounds of Silence","Mrs Robinson", "Bridge over Troubled Water", "Homeward Bound", "America" amd "Scarbourough Affair". A video of the Concert is available on DVD. The album peaked at number 6 on the Billboard 200. It is certified a Double Platinum selling album. It is a great album of easy listening music from a duo who broke up after releasing the album "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Both Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel as both grew and went to school in Queens.
