• Citrus Aurantium has been shown in clinical trials to stimulate beta-3 cell metabolic receptors resulting in lipolysis - similar to the beta-2 stimulation by ephedrine, but without the elevation of blood pressure. Weight losses of over 2 kilograms a week reported. 
• A study on caffeine anhydrous, an adenosine receptor antagonist, showed 11% extra energy expenditure by norepinephrine. 
• Green Tea Extract has been shown to stimulate brown fat thermogenesis (breakdown) to an extent that was substantially greater than can be attributed to its caffeine content alone (Dulloo Ag et al., green tea and thermogenesis: interactions between catechin-polyphenols, caffeine and sympathetic activity. • In a 12 week study on 15 obese men the use of coleus forskoli realized an average of 4.5 kg fat loss and an increase of 3.7kg lean mass (Godard MP, Body Composition and Hormonal Adaptations associated with Forskolin use in overweight men.
