tasco 60x spotting scope

This is a second hand tasco spotting scope

The lenses seem good no visible scratches but they do need cleaning

The original tripod seems like it have a screw missing

the replacement tripod also included does seem to be a little too big but if tightened does hold the scope

the front lens cover is there but have a small whole where it does not close completely. the back lens cover is not there

The suitcase is still solid but have some wear and tear masks on.

The plastic cover zip does close but the zip attachment is not there.

The zoom and focus function still work well and this item is still very usable if all the above are mentioned. I think if someone buys universal lens cover for the back, give it a good clean, put in a new tripod screw they will be able to enjoy this item for spotting animals, birds etc. It is advisable to use it on a table while sitting down etc, The zoom is too powerful for handheld. The zoom is actually really crazy on 60x

I used this to spot a leopard that was not visible with the naked eye to give you an idea.(photos are attached out of interest and was taken by a cellphone through the lens) the very last photo is the zoom power for reference as seen with "naked eye". I do find you need a bit of a steady hand on max zoom (this is so with any digital item that does extreme zooms)
